Duet is a shared baby tracker for two parents. If something isn't working, or you have an idea, email contact@royshavit.com. We read every message.
It helps to include what happened, what you expected, your iPhone model, your iOS version and your Duet version (shown in the App Store or TestFlight). A screenshot helps too.

Common questions
Getting started
How do I invite the other parent?
Tap the gear on Home to open Settings, then Household › Invite someone › Create a code, and share the six-character code. The other parent installs Duet, signs in, chooses Join a household and enters it. Each code works once and is valid for seven days.
Do we have to sign in the same way?
Each parent signs in with their own Apple or Google account. Always use the method you used the first time: signing in the other way either creates a separate account or is refused, and you won't see your household.
Timers and Live Activities
The other parent's timer doesn't appear on my Lock Screen.
Check that:
- Automatic Live Activity starts is on, in Duet's Settings.
- Live Activities are on and notifications are allowed for Duet, in iPhone Settings › Apps › Duet.
- Your phone is online. Live Activity updates travel through Apple's push service, and iOS can delay them.
The timer itself is always right in the app, even when the Lock Screen is behind.
Why did a long sleep disappear from my Lock Screen?
iOS shows a Live Activity for at most eight hours. The sleep keeps running in Duet, and its card comes back the next time you open the app.
Why do I get a notification when the other parent starts a sleep or a feed?
iOS requires an alert whenever a Live Activity is started on a phone remotely. Duet doesn't ask for a sound. To stop these alerts, turn off Automatic Live Activity starts; you can still follow timers in the app.
Can I stop notifications when the other parent logs a diaper, bottle or pumping?
Yes: Settings › Event alerts. It only affects your phone.
Entries and history
How do I fix or delete an entry?
Tap it in History. You can change its times and details, or delete it. Right after deleting, tap Undo to bring it back.
I forgot to log something.
Add it in History with the + button, at the time it happened.
Can both parents edit the same entry?
Yes. Either parent can edit any entry or stop any timer, and each entry shows who created it and who last changed it.
Offline
Does Duet work without internet?
Yes. Everything you log is saved on your phone first ("Waiting for connection · Saved on this phone") and reaches the other parent's phone when you're back online.
Settings
How do I switch between milliliters and fluid ounces?
Settings › Units. Each parent chooses their own, and the stored amounts don't change.
How do I change the language?
Duet follows your iPhone's language. To use a different language for Duet only, go to iPhone Settings › Apps › Duet › Language. Settings › Language in Duet takes you there.
Your household and your data
How do I leave a household or remove a parent?
Settings › Household. If you're the last parent, leaving deletes the household and every entry in it, for good.
How do I clear a baby's history?
The parent who created the household can reset it in Settings › Household. This permanently deletes all of that baby's entries.
How do I delete my account?
Settings › Delete account. If you're the last parent in your household, the household and every entry in it are deleted too; otherwise they stay with the other parent. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm first. Can't open the app? Email contact@royshavit.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete it within 30 days. The privacy policy explains exactly what is removed.
